Part 1: What are the eyesores on my siding?
We’ve all seen it before. No matter what color your siding is – a muted neutral or a crisp white, a deep red or a bright blue – a few other hues begin to come into play over time. But while you choose your siding, you don’t choose the buildup that accumulates of your exterior.
We have the breakdown of the common sights (however unwelcome) you will see on your siding between cleanings:
- Mold - Black spots or dark clusters usually signify that you have a mold problem. If you see this, schedule a no power washing service from A Step Up – you don’t want it to become an interior issue, too.
- Algae - Slimy, green, and persistent, algae is a common sight in spring and autumn.
